The incident took place on September 04, 2019, when Pettit detained with the accusation of distribution of a controlled substance. The complaint filed by Tommy Fung (DEA Special Agent) in Los Angeles federal court.
According to him, James provided Mac oxycodone pills which were fake and also contained traces of fentanyl. He asked his alleged associate “Mia Johansson” to order Carolina Cortez for the work.
Later, Karla Amador supplied the packet to the rapper. However, only Cameron James Pettit took into custody with the crime but the investigation is currently running.
In Miller’s autopsy report, it also confirmed that he died due to a combination of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol overdose. Fung also claims that she was the one who privately delivered the false pills to Miller on September 5, 2018.
