Kenny Omega is considered one of the best professional wrestles on the planet right now, for numerous reasons. That said, he is also never afraid of appreciating his peers from other pro wrestling companies, especially WWE. Now it appears that Omega admitted that The Elite’s storyline is nothing but a cheap copy of The Bloodline.
The Bloodline has remained the most dominant faction in WWE for almost two years now. Their storyline with Sami Zayn became the most compelling form of storytelling in pro wrestling in the last decade.
The Bloodline storyline elevated every involved and even now, people simply can’t stop talking about the faction. This includes AEW stars such as The Elite, who have their own storyline going on right now.
During the latest episode of Being The Elite, one of the Young Bucks told Kenny Omega that Konosuke Takeshita said there is a better story going on in wrestling than The Elite. Omega then immediately named The Bloodline and admitted that The Elite’s storyline is nothing but a cheap copy of The Bloodline.
The Bloodline, right? Of course. I mean we’re just a cheap copy anyway. It’s nothing to worry about, whatever. It’s all good. We’re still second best, thing, second-third. Not bad.
This is certainly interesting coming from Kenny Omega, as he ended up name-dropping The Bloodline during the show. Regardless, Omega has a lot of respect for what The Bloodline has accomplished and truly acknowledges them.
What’s your take on what Kenny Omega said? Do you agree that The Bloodline is a better storyline than The Elite? Sound off in the comments!
